Excelente
Papita, Maní, Tostón... A funny romantic comedy that takes us through several unexpected situations that arise when a couple of baseball fans - but opposing teams- are known... The film makes the audience feel identified and its main aim to entertain the whole family, with a good script, with few vulgarities, the actors play their characters very well with a very colloquial Venezuelan touch. In short, it is a well made film, leaving a good message of friendship and love regardless of differences. About 2 hours of laughs, romance, action, adventure and of course Baseball... Long live to the Eternal Champions, Los Leones del Caracas... XD
No so Bad
Papita Mani Toston, well, well, where can I start?.I gave 5 stars because is a Venezuelan movie and I know is hard to film a movie here with the situation of the country. A lot of good actors has ran away from Venezuela due to the lack of projects..I think the author never knew what king of comedy tried to make. The film was not lineal, they used different s kind of comedies that did not make sense. The main actor was good, the secondaries were OK. But the worst was Mr Gallanes character. The best was the thief, great performance. The main male character did not deserve that girl. But one good thing was the final message
Venezuelan Excelenete show mood
Very good, would see. Excellent comedy show cast mood Venezuelan baseball fanaticism in rivals. Content vocabulary is for youth and adults, although in his censure A should consider carrying a B for children (PG13). This is not a film of elaborate effects, we must focus on its humorous content to have a good time. All actors embody their characters very well. The protagonist manages to create empathy in many of her scenes for the audience which makes it pleasant anticipation. Stay until the end to laugh a little more. Well here are asked to write 10 lines and is really hard to do without telling me a preview of the film, so ramble a little longer for the story. Comedy has mainly a bit of action, romance and science fiction ... good very little of the latter.
Extremely Disappointing
I saw this movie, because I heard too many times that it was good, but what a disappointment. The script is really bad and pointless, i was expecting a comedy and it turned out to be a really cheesy romantic comedy. I will not say that this movie is good, just because it is Venezuelan, I think many people do, because otherwise i do not understand how people say that this movie is good. It had some funny jokes, and the performances of the main actors were OK, but it's not a comedy, it's a very cheesy movie. I think it was a missed opportunity to make a good comedy, the idea was good but it was very poorly executed.
Great Idea for sketch, but not for a movie
As i said in the title, there was a handful of ideas/jokes in the film that had some potential, with and interesting use of regional humor and two decent main actors(even though the female prog is an awful stereotype). However the film is filled with uninspired, dumb jokes that set off those little moments of cleverness, storytelling is down right terrible and it pitfalls into a insufferable cheesy rom com by the end
