"Cruel and Unusual" is the story of three men who have spent longer in solitary confinement than any other prisoners in the US because of the murder of a prison guard in 1972 at Angola, the Louisiana state penitentiary. Robert King, Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox were convicted by bribed and blind eye witnesses and with no physical evidence. Targeted as members of the Black Panther party the film follows their struggle against the miscarriage of justice and their cruel and unusual treatment. Their story culminated in 2016 with the release of Albert Woodfox after 43 years in solitary confinement.

"Don't Do the Crime if You Can't Do the Time...No, don't Do it!"
The three convicts were in fact black panthers, and no one really cares what hate filled dysfunctional Club someone might be a member of... No, these men are notorious murderers both before locked up and while in jail! What is bothersome about this film is how the narrative is implies bad cops targeting black panthers, injustice and Racism are the reasons they are in Jail or have Murdered people as if they had good reason to take a life, I quote the producer's story description "were convicted by bribed and blind eye witnesses and with no physical evidence. Targeted as members of the Black Panther party" <---- completely false narrative! They are Murderers, it is that Simple!
