Terrible...NOt well organized...
i bought a ticket for this film because the marketing camping said this is something new. However, it lacks strict construction on screen play that liner and logical. I saw both part one and part two but still does not get it that why the red dress girl comes to urban city for kid napping guys? There is no driving force to do that. The sad thing to see the marketing attitude that rejecting negative reactions and complaints from audiences to this film. As a filmmaker and distributor, they should accept any complaints from consumers. 1 out of 10.
Mommy is dead
The film is being marketed in the US as a two film DVD featuring Tag-Along 1 and 2 under the title "The Haunted." It has the same DVD cover. ($9.96 Walmart). There is an idea that ghosts of children tag-along and seek their mother, especially the aborted fetus. This feature includes a mountain and forest where the demons and spirits live as they bargain with the living for lives and souls. A woman who is a state social worker has a pregnant teen daughter who she wants to have an abortion. The daughter gets lead to the mountain and mom must unravel a web of information to get her back. The film had some interesting demons and scenes. I did grow weary watching it. I enjoyed the humor of the last scene and I assume Master Tiger was meant to be a joke too, but maybe not. Badly dubbed.
Positive Sum Game : The Tag Along 2?
The Tag Along 2 has upgraded in relativity to its predecessor. The first quarter of screenplays indeed exerted some spine chilling taste with all those effective jump scares. It was bursting with suspense moments in the mid way and brilliantly ended up with emotional scene. What i love most about the movie were Rainie's flawless acting, the pace and an added bonus as it tagged along with positive sum game closure. One of the best horror movies of the year. Not even the popular the New Ouija and Annabelle Creation are half as creepy as this one!
Disjointed story with good creeps
Oct 17 A-Z Horror Movie of the Day..."The Haunted 2" (aka The Tag Along 2 - NR - 2017 - Taiwan)...Still had good creeps! Sub-Genre: Paranormal/Ghost My Score: 6.0 Cast=4 Acting=7 Plot=6 Ending=6 Story=5 Scare=5 Jump=6 F/X=7 Creep=9 Twist=5 When a teenage daughter disappears, she is told that her daughter was last seen with the spirit of a girl in red. Peril ensues as she tries to unravel the mystery and save her daughter before it's too late. "The five thunder spell will protect you from evil spirits." The what now? Well I still can't say much about the story...it was even more disjointed than the first. The creeps were still solid, though. It was starting to remind me of those fantasy style Kung-Fu movies...only there was no fighting. I can only recommend it as a follow up to the first...I had both on one DVD so it was easy.
